Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: For full-service catering and private chef events, we recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance. Last-minute requests are welcome but subject to availability and may include a rush booking fee.
Q: What services do you offer?
A: We provide private chef experiences, full-service catering, meal prep, cooking lessons, seafood boils, weddings, and plate pickup drops in select cities (Oakland & Las Vegas).
Q: Do you travel for events?
A: Yes! Chef Brandon travels throughout California, Las Vegas, and beyond. Travel fees apply based on distance and location.
Q: Is there a booking minimum?
A: Yes. Booking minimums vary by service and location. Please visit the Catering or Private Chef pages on our website for current minimums.
Q: What deposit is required to confirm a booking?
A: A 60% deposit is required to secure your event date. Unpaid invoices are canceled daily at 9PM and dates reopen to new inquiries.
Q: Do you offer secure-the-date options?
A: Yes, if you’re not ready to confirm a full menu, you can reserve a date with a $750 Secure-the-Date Fee, which is applied to your final balance.
Q: Do you accept payment plans?
A: Yes! For qualifying events, we can split payments into two or three installments.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations made 14+ days prior to the event are eligible for a partial refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the event are non-refundable due to prep costs, staffing, and food sourcing.
Q: Are deposits refundable?
A: Deposits are non-refundable. However, in certain cases, they may be transferred to a future date depending on availability.
Q: Do you offer tastings?
A: Tastings are available for select full-service catering packages starting at $150.
Q: Can I customize the menu?
A: Absolutely. Chef Brandon will work with you to tailor the menu based on your event, dietary needs, and cultural preferences.
Q: Do you offer vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?
A: Yes, we accommodate most dietary restrictions. Just let us know in advance.
Q: Do you handle rentals (tables, plates, etc.)?
A: We can coordinate with third-party vendors for rentals. Any rental fees will be included in your quote.
Q: Are your cooking practices health compliant?
A: Yes. Chef Brandon is certified in food safety and ServSafe-trained. We follow all sanitation protocols for on-site and off-site events.
